Kid-Friendly Escapes

We've combined our award-winning, family-friendly escape rooms with the hands-on instruction to create a brand new way for our younger players to experience Quicksand Escape Games! Our new offering allows kids to play with their peers at a personalized level their group can handle. 

How does it work?

First, you'll find availability in one of our kid-friendly experiences and book the number of participants. Kids should arrive with an adult to get them signed in organized before the game begins. We ask at least one adult be present in the room with the kids but we will NOT require them to be a paying participant. 

Once in the escape room, unlike our classic escape room experience, a trained game guide will get the group started with some initial escape room tips and help. They'll push the group in the right direction, asking questions like "Has anyone else found a bunch of these things?" or "Did anyone else notice this color pattern on the wall?". With gentle steering the young participants will still feel accomplished in their solving ability but without the frustration of feeling completely stuck or the need to seek out explicit help. Along the way the guide will also provide encouragement, kudos, and fun facts to keep the entire group engaged. 

The game experience will last ~50 minutes but allow ~10 minutes for questions, debrief, and everything else swimming through the groups' heads after an awesome escape room experience.

Perfect for Birthdays

This kid-friendly escape experience is the perfect birthday activity none of their friends have had at their parties. Join us for an escape room and then head to a partner business for some refreshments. In addition, we offer group add-ons like escape room party favors/goodie bags for your guests, in-room photos packages, and in-experience gift placement.
